As a private doctor, I do not have a contract with health insurance companies.
The advantages for you as a patient at my private doctor's office are:
The charges for the appointment are based on the patient's choice of doctor. This means that patients usually receive a bill, which they pay on the spot and then submit to their insurance company for reimbursement.
For those insured by the ÖGK, the bill is forwarded electronically from the doctor's office directly to the ÖGK, which speeds up processing by the insurance company.
Magistrate of Wels:
Those insured by the Magistrate Wels do not receive a bill, as billing is handled directly by the Magistrate.
KUF, Krankenfürsorgen (state officials, municipality, etc.):
Insured persons are reimbursed 50 to 80% of the invoice amount by the health insurance fund.
SVS-GW, SVS-LW, BVAEB:
Insured persons are reimbursed 40 to 80% by the health insurance fund.
Austrian Health Insurance Fund:
Insured persons are generally reimbursed 20-40% of the invoice amount by their insurance company.
Please note: Failure to keep appointments will result in a cancellation fee of €75.00.
